Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate accepts two 25 x 50mm euro-module inserts or a single 50 x 50mm euro-module, creating custom AV, data and telephone installations behind a black nickel screwless cover plate. The 87.5mm square faceplate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame, leaving no visible screws or fixings once installed.

Designed for TV points, HDMI connections, USB charging sockets, RJ45 data ports, telephone sockets and other euro-module accessories, the faceplate suits both residential and commercial installations where custom connectivity is needed. The modular format allows the specific mix of inserts to be changed without replacing the faceplate — swap a data port for a USB socket by replacing only the insert module, not the entire fitting.

The black nickel finish is a dark gunmetal tone that sits between polished chrome and matt black, pairing well with contemporary interiors and dark-toned joinery. The steel construction gives the faceplate durability under repeated insert changes, and the built-in gasket ensures a flush seal against the wall once the cover plate is clipped onto the sub-frame. Projection from the wall is 4.3mm once fitted, keeping the profile low enough to avoid snagging on furniture placed close to the wall.

What euro modules does this accept?

The faceplate accepts two 25 x 50mm euro-module inserts side by side, or a single 50 x 50mm euro-module. Compatible insert types include HDMI, USB, RJ45 data, telephone, coaxial TV, speaker terminals and blank plates. Euro modules are sold separately.

What back box depth is required?

The minimum back box depth depends on the euro module used. Most standard euro modules require a 25mm back box, but deeper modules such as powered USB sockets may need 35mm or more. Check the specification of your chosen euro module insert before installation.

Is the screwless cover removable?

Yes. The black nickel cover plate clips onto a steel sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed to change euro module inserts or for redecorating, then re-clipped without disturbing the wiring.
