Description

The Knightsbridge 2.5W LED under cabinet light is a 68mm diameter circular fitting with an integrated SMD LED producing 195 lumens of warm white 3000K light through an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The fitting projects just 11mm from the cabinet underside once installed, with a 63mm cut-out diameter required in the mounting surface. A 2.5m cable connects to a constant-current LED driver (sold separately).

Designed for kitchen worktop illumination, display cabinet lighting and under-shelf task lighting, the fitting can be installed as a single unit or linked with additional lights in series from the same driver. The white polycarbonate and pressed steel body sits flush with most cabinet undersides, giving a discreet presence when unlit. The 100-degree beam angle provides even spread across worktops without creating harsh shadows at the edge of the light pool.

The integrated LED is dimmable using trailing-edge dimmers only when paired with a compatible dimmable constant-current driver. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from water exposure. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty and an L70B50 rating of 25,000 hours, meaning the LED will retain at least 70% of its initial brightness after 25,000 hours of operation under normal conditions. The Class III rating requires low-voltage input from the driver, typically 12V DC.

Does this light include a driver?

No. The fitting requires a separate constant-current LED driver, sold separately. Choose a driver that matches the total wattage of all lights you plan to connect in series. Knightsbridge produces compatible drivers in various output ratings.

Can multiple lights be connected together?

Yes. The 2.5m cable allows lights to be linked in series from a single driver. Calculate the total wattage of all fittings and select a driver rated to handle that combined load with at least 10% headroom.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but only with trailing-edge dimmers when paired with a dimmable constant-current driver. Leading-edge dimmers are not compatible. Confirm dimmer compatibility with your chosen driver before purchase.

What cut-out size is needed for installation?

A 63mm diameter hole is required in the cabinet underside or shelf. The fitting then sits in the cut-out with an 11mm projection below the surface. The visible outer diameter once fitted is 68mm.
