Description

This is a 1m surface or recessed LED profile channel in a white plastic finish, from the J K White 1M part group. The channel houses a flexible LED strip along its length and sits behind a diffuser, so the lit strip is shielded by the profile rather than the profile being lit itself. The clean white face suits white ceilings, walls, shelving and under-cabinet runs where a low-profile housing is wanted.

An LED strip drops into the channel and the diffuser clips over it to soften the run into an even line, which also protects the strip from knocks and dust. Fix it to a flat surface or recess it into a groove, and join several lengths for longer runs around a room or cabinet. We also stock matching diffusers, end caps and the LED strip that fits inside, so a complete run can be put together from one place.

What width of LED strip fits this profile?

The channel takes a standard flexible LED strip sized to drop into its internal width. Check the strip width against the channel opening before cutting, and feed the strip in before clipping the diffuser over the top.

Can it be surface mounted or recessed?

It works both ways. Fix it to a flat surface with the supplied or suitable fixings, or recess it into a routed groove so the face sits flush with the surrounding finish.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The 1m profile can be cut down with a fine-tooth saw to suit shorter runs, and several lengths can be joined end to end for longer installations.

Is a diffuser included?

This part belongs to the J K White 1M group, which uses a matching diffuser to soften the strip into an even line. We stock the matching diffusers and end caps separately so you can finish the run.
