Description

The Ck 1M is a 1m surface-mount profile channel in a white finish, decoded from the article code SHADE CK G 1M. It gives an LED strip a neat home along a shelf edge, worktop, cabinet or cove, holding the tape in a straight line and hiding the bare diodes from view. The channel itself is passive hardware and does not light up.

An LED strip seats inside the channel and a clip-in diffuser sits over the top to soften the line of light once the strip is powered. The 1m length can be cut down to suit shorter runs, and several lengths can be set end to end for a continuous look. We also stock matching diffusers, end caps and the LED strip that fits inside.

What width of LED strip fits inside?

The channel takes a standard flexible LED strip that sits within its internal width. Check your strip width against the channel's recess before fitting; most single-row tape sits neatly inside.

Is this a surface or recessed channel?

This is a surface-mount profile, fixed onto a flat face such as a shelf, worktop or cabinet underside. It mounts on top of the surface rather than being let into a groove.

Can the profile be cut to length?

Yes. The 1m channel can be cut down with a fine-tooth saw to suit a shorter run, and multiple lengths can be butted together for a longer continuous line.

Is a diffuser included?

The diffuser is the clip-in cover that softens the strip's output. We stock matching diffusers and end caps separately so you can finish the channel to suit your install.
