Description

This is a 1 metre transparent diffuser cover from the SHADE CK profile parts, decoded from the article code SHADE CK C/D/E/I-FR 1M as a frosted-clear lens that fits the C, D, E and I channel formats. Made from plastic in a transparent finish, it snaps into the top of the aluminium profile to sit over the LED strip behind it.

The diffuser softens the run of individual diodes into a continuous line and shields the strip from dust and knocks, so the profile reads as one clean band rather than a row of dots. It cuts to suit the channel length and pushes in by hand with no tools. We also stock the matching aluminium profiles, end caps and the LED strip that runs inside them.

Is this a surface or recessed part?

The diffuser itself is neither; it simply clips into the top of whichever profile you choose. Whether the run sits on the surface or recesses into a groove is set by the aluminium channel you mount it in.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 1 metre length can be trimmed with a fine saw or sharp blade to match your profile run, then pushed back into the channel by hand.

Does the diffuser come with the strip or profile?

No, this is the transparent cover only. You will need the matching aluminium profile, end caps and a compatible LED strip to complete the run, all of which we stock separately.
