Description

The Knightsbridge TRKIT8AW is a 1m track lighting kit in white aluminium, supplied with three adjustable GU10 spotlight heads on a single-circuit track. Each spotlight head rotates 350° and tilts 80°, allowing light to be directed onto wall displays, kitchen worktops, retail shelving or artwork without moving the track itself.

Designed for ceiling mounting in kitchens, home offices, retail spaces and gallery walls, the 1m track length suits rooms where directional accent lighting is needed across a 3-4m zone. The white finish integrates with white ceilings and minimalist interiors without creating a visual contrast line. The kit arrives with one live end and one dead end accessory, allowing the track to be powered from either end depending on where the ceiling rose sits.

The aluminium track housing measures 1000mm long by 56mm wide, with each spotlight head projecting 180mm from the ceiling when fitted. The three heads are pre-installed on the track and can be repositioned along the rail after installation by loosening a small fixing screw. Each head accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately), giving a maximum system load of 120W across the three heads. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior spaces.

What bulbs does it take?

Each spotlight head takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this track with LED GU10 bulbs between 4-6W and 3000K for kitchen and office use, though halogen GU10 bulbs are also compatible.

Can the spotlight heads be moved along the track?

Yes. Each head is held on the track by a small fixing screw that can be loosened to reposition the head anywhere along the 1m rail. This allows the spacing between heads to be adjusted after installation to suit the specific wall or worktop layout.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb chosen. If you fit dimmable GU10 LED bulbs, the track can be controlled by a compatible dimmer switch on the wall circuit. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

The kit is supplied as a single 1m track with live and dead end accessories. Additional track sections can be joined using compatible connectors if you need to extend the run beyond 1m, but this requires purchasing separate joining accessories compatible with the Knightsbridge track system.
