Description

This is a 1m frosted diffuser channel, the J K Fr 1M part designed to clip into the matching J and K aluminium profiles. Moulded in plastic with a frosted finish, it sits over an LED strip and spreads the light into an even line, softening the individual diodes so they read as a continuous run rather than visible dots. The component is passive: it carries no electrics and produces no light of its own, acting purely as the cover that finishes the profile.

Surface or recessed runs both accept this 1m length, and it cuts down with a fine saw where a shorter section is needed. The frosted plastic suits under-cabinet, shelf, cove and display installations where a clean, glare-reduced finish matters. We also stock the matching J and K aluminium profiles, end caps and mounting clips, along with the LED strip that fits inside.

Which profile does this diffuser fit?

It is the J K Fr 1M cover, made to clip into the matching J and K aluminium profiles. It will not seat correctly in profiles of a different shape, so pair it with the J or K channel.

Can it be cut to length?

Yes. The 1m frosted diffuser can be trimmed with a fine-tooth saw to suit a shorter run. Cut it to match the profile and the LED strip beneath it.

Is the diffuser included with a strip, or separate?

This is the diffuser cover only. The LED strip and the aluminium profile are supplied separately, so order the matching J or K channel and the strip to complete the run.

Does the diffuser reduce glare from the LEDs?

Yes. The frosted finish softens the light from the strip behind it, blending the individual diodes into an even line. This makes the run more comfortable to look at in shelf, cove and display positions.
