18W LED E27 Corn Lamp - 4000K Cool White

The Knightsbridge 18W LED E27 corn lamp delivers 2495 lumens of 4000K cool white light through a 260° beam angle, housed in a 60mm diameter polycarbonate and aluminium body. The corn lamp design positions multiple LED chips along three vertical fins around the bulb, creating near-omnidirectional light distribution rather than the focused beam of a traditional directional LED.

This bulb replaces high-wattage metal halide, compact fluorescent or incandescent lamps in commercial, retail, industrial and residential settings where high single-source output is needed. Typical applications include pendant fixtures in warehouses, retail display areas, workshops, garage forecourts, and enclosed outdoor luminaires where a non-directional high-lumen source is required. The 18W draw replaces approximately 100W equivalent incandescent or 36W CFL loads while maintaining similar brightness.

The aluminium heat sink and integrated cooling fins manage thermal load without requiring active cooling, allowing the lamp to run in enclosed fixtures without overheating. The polycarbonate outer shell protects the LED array and diffuses the light source, reducing glare when viewed directly. Can this be used outdoors?

The IP20 rating means the lamp is suitable only for enclosed outdoor luminaires, not direct exposure to weather. It can be used in covered porch lights, garage ceiling fixtures or other outdoor fittings where the bulb itself is protected from rain and moisture ingress.

Is it dimmable?

No. This lamp is non-dimmable and will not function correctly with dimmer switches. Attempting to use it on a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage the lamp.
