Description
A continuous line of warm white light on slim white tape, supplied as a 5m reel. The LEDs sit close together along the 10mm width, so a finished run reads as a band of light rather than a row of separate points. At 2700K the tone is soft and faintly golden, nearer a filament lamp than daylight. It comes wound on a reel, ready to unroll straight or in a long, gentle curve. Output is fixed rather than adjustable, so it pays to put it on a switch within easy reach.
This is the middle density in the range, and it is the one we reach for under kitchen wall units, where light needs to fall evenly across a worktop without shadow gaps between the diodes. It suits shelf lighting, a shallow alcove, the underside of a handrail and the back of a headboard just as well. Keep it to dry rooms indoors, since there is nothing here to shrug off splashes or steam. A low voltage driver is needed and is not part of the reel, so tell us the run length you have in mind and we will match one to it.
White on the face and white on the back, the tape stays inconspicuous against pale joinery, painted shelving and light-coloured coving. To clean, switch off at the wall, then draw a dry cloth gently along the length and leave the soldered joints and end connections untouched. It carries a three year warranty. We also stock this tape with the diodes packed closer for a brighter line, spaced further apart for quieter accent work, and in cooler white tones, one of which comes in a version made for damper spots. A driver is not included.

Frequently Asked
How long is the reel and how wide is the tape?
Each reel holds 5m of tape, 10mm wide, so it slips into narrow recesses and behind slim shadow gaps.
How many LEDs are there per metre, and how much power does it draw?
There are 120 LEDs per metre, drawing 14.4W per metre. A full 5m run therefore needs a driver rated comfortably above 72W.
What supply does it need?
It runs on 24V, so a mains to 24V driver is required. That driver is bought separately and should be sized for the total length you are running.
Can it be dimmed?
No. This version runs at full output only, so plan for a simple on and off switch.
How bright is it, and what colour is the light?
It gives around 1100 lumens per metre at 2700K, a warm white with a soft, slightly golden cast that flatters timber and painted finishes.
How long should it last?
The LEDs are rated at 30,000 hours of average life, and the product carries a three year warranty.
