Description
This is a five metre reel of flexible strip on a white backing, with the diodes set close together so the light reads as a continuous line rather than a row of dots. The colour is warm white at 3000K, soft and even along the run. The face is sealed against dust and water jets, and the strip works on low voltage rather than mains, which suits it to concealed runs behind joinery. It is not dimmable, so pair it with a plain switch.
We reach for strip lighting like this under kitchen wall units, where it puts light on the worktop with nothing visible from standing height, and along the underside of shelves, inside coves and above tall cupboards. The sealed face means it also earns a place in a bathroom, a utility room or a covered outdoor spot such as a porch soffit or a garden room. At 10mm wide it slips into a narrow channel, and the close diode spacing gives a bright, even wash where a spotlight would leave scallops on the wall.
The LEDs are integrated, so there is nothing to replace, and the white backing keeps the strip quiet against pale joinery when a stretch of it is visible. Keep it clean by switching the power off and wiping the sealed face with a damp cloth, then drying it; skip solvents and scouring pads, which will cloud the coating. It carries a three year warranty. A low voltage driver is needed and is bought separately, sized to the length you run. We stock the range in warmer and cooler whites, and in lighter and denser diode spacings if you want a gentler glow or more punch.

Frequently Asked
What driver does it need?
It runs at 24V, so a 24V constant voltage driver is required and is supplied separately. Size it to the length in use: the strip draws 14.4W per metre, so a full 5m reel needs a driver rated comfortably above 72W.
How bright is it?
The system flux is 1120lm per metre, spread through a wide 120 degree beam, which gives an even wash rather than a tight pool.
How many LEDs are there per metre?
There are 120 LEDs per metre, closely enough spaced to avoid obvious dotting once the strip sits in a channel or behind a shadow gap.
Can it be dimmed?
No. This one is non-dimmable, so it is best wired to a standard on/off switch.
Is it suitable for a bathroom or a sheltered outdoor area?
Yes. The IP65 sealing protects it against dust and water jets, which covers bathrooms, utility rooms and covered outdoor positions.
What colour is the light?
Warm white, at 3000K with a tolerance of five per cent, and a colour rendering index above 80.
