Description

The Knightsbridge 13A switched fused spur unit provides hard-wired connection for fixed appliances such as boilers, extractor fans, towel rails and kitchen equipment, with a surface-mounted switch for local isolation. The unit accepts a standard 13A fuse cartridge (included) to protect the connected appliance circuit, and a neon indicator shows when the switch is in the ON position.

Designed for residential, commercial and healthcare installation, the fused spur unit fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a white thermoset resin faceplate with rounded edges and a gently contoured 7mm profile. The rounded edge design reduces sharp corners on wall surfaces, making it suitable for corridors, care homes and hospitality settings where contact injuries are a consideration. Screw cap covers are included to hide the fixing screws once the unit is installed, giving a cleaner finished appearance.
