Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket pairs a matt black rounded-edge metal faceplate with a black insert and matching rocker switches. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole designs for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses screw terminals for live, neutral and earth connections. The twin earth terminals offer flexibility for earthing continuity in multi-gang installations or daisy-chain wiring. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The rounded-edge profile softens the visual weight of the plate compared to sharp-edged designs, while the matt black finish on premium-grade steel provides a low-reflection surface that pairs well with contemporary, industrial and minimal interiors. The black insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture, maintaining a monochromatic finish when the socket is in use. The integrated gasket between the plate and the wall creates a clean edge seal.
