Description

The Knightsbridge SN9931D is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with one USB-A and one USB-C charging port built into a white square edge faceplate. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety for appliances and equipment. The USB ports deliver a combined 5V DC 3.1A output for simultaneous charging of phones, tablets and other devices without occupying the mains outlets.

Designed for residential, office and light commercial installation, the socket fits a 25-35mm back box depending on cable volume and wiring conditions. The square edge plate sits flush to the wall with a 9mm profile, giving a clean contemporary finish that works across both domestic and commercial settings. Top-access captive terminals speed up installation and reduce the risk of loose connections during fitting.

The thermoset resin plate incorporates anti-microbial protection tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial growth on the surface in high-touch environments like kitchens, bathrooms and public-facing areas. The white finish matches standard decorator white and pairs with most wall colours.
