The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang SP switched socket adds two USB-A charging ports behind a brushed chrome square edge faceplate with a black insert. The single-pole switch isolates the live line when the socket is switched off, while the dual USB ports provide 5V DC 2.1A shared output for charging phones, tablets and other portable devices without needing a separate plug-in adapter.

Designed for residential and commercial installation, the socket fits mounting boxes with 25-35mm depth depending on wiring configuration, making it compatible with most standard UK back boxes. The square edge metal plate sits flush with the wall, and the built-in gasket ensures a tight seal against the mounting surface. The black insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and provides a defined edge to the socket aperture and USB ports.
