Description

Decoded from the POWELED P range, this is a constant-voltage LED driver giving a regulated 12V DC output rated to 150W. It takes a 220-240V AC mains input and converts it to the low-voltage DC that 12V LED loads require, so it sits in-line between the mains supply and the fitting rather than producing any light of its own. The plastic-cased unit measures 205 x 71 x 35 mm in white, carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor installation, and should be sited in a ventilated spot away from damp.

Use it to run 12V LED strip, tape, modules and profile-mounted runs, sizing the total connected load to stay within the 150W headroom for a stable supply. It is the matching power source for any 12V DC strip or module that does not include its own driver. We also stock the 12V LED strips, COB tape and LED modules this driver is built to power, along with the connectors and aluminium profiles to finish the run.

This is a fixed-output constant-voltage supply, so for dimming you would control the LED load on the DC side using a compatible 12V dimmer or controller fitted between the driver and the strip.
