10W LED Floodlight 4000K IP65 - Black Die-Cast Aluminium

This Knightsbridge 10W LED floodlight delivers 800 lumens of 4000K cool white light through a prismatic glass diffuser set into a die-cast aluminium black housing. The integrated SMD LED runs on 230V mains with an onboard driver housed inside the body, requiring only a standard outdoor-rated mains connection at the rear junction. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making the fitting suitable for installation on external walls, garage fascias, garden boundaries and building perimeters.

Designed for residential and light commercial security and functional lighting, the floodlight mounts via an adjustable bracket that allows the head to be angled towards pathways, driveways, side passages or building entrances. The 100° beam angle provides wide area coverage rather than a tight spot, reducing the need for multiple fittings along a typical 4-5m garden wall or driveway run. The compact 130mm width and 105mm height suit installations where space is limited or where the fitting needs to sit flush below eaves or soffits.

The die-cast aluminium construction handles frost, rain and UV exposure without corroding or fading. The black powder-coated finish is non-reflective under daylight and blends into dark-painted walls, fascias or fencing. At 10W and 800lm the output suits accent lighting, security deterrence and functional task lighting, but is not intended to replace higher-output floodlights where 50W+ equivalents are needed for large commercial yards or sports areas.

What does the IP65 rating mean?

IP65 means the floodlight is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It can be installed on external walls, under eaves or in open positions exposed to rain without additional weather protection.

Is this bright enough for security lighting?

At 800lm and 4000K, this floodlight provides functional illumination for pathways, driveways, side passages and building entrances. It suits residential security and accent lighting. For larger areas or commercial yards requiring higher output, consider 30W or 50W models.

Can the angle be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The mounting bracket allows the head to be angled during installation. Once the bracket fixings are tightened the angle is set, but can be loosened and re-adjusted if needed.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The rated lifespan is typically 25,000+ hours. When the LED reaches end-of-life the entire fitting is replaced.
