Description

The Knightsbridge 1-gang modular faceplate accepts one 25 x 50mm euro module behind a brushed chrome screwless cover plate. The faceplate provides a standardised mounting point for TV coaxial modules, RJ45 data modules, HDMI, USB, telephone sockets and other euro-format inserts, allowing custom AV and data installations to be built around the specific connections needed in each room.

Designed for residential and commercial AV installations, the faceplate fits a standard UK single-gang back box and uses Knightsbridge's screwless cover plate system. The brushed chrome plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, concealing all fixings once installed. The 87.5mm square footprint matches standard UK wiring accessories, so the modular plate sits flush alongside switches and sockets on the same wall.

The premium-grade steel construction and built-in gasket between the cover plate and sub-frame give a tight fit with no visible gaps around the euro module aperture. The brushed chrome finish provides a satin metallic surface that minimises fingerprints and pairs with both modern and industrial interiors. The faceplate accepts any standard 25 x 50mm euro module, including Knightsbridge's TV coaxial, RJ45 Cat5e/Cat6 data, HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, telephone RJ11, and blank modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the aperture from the front once the sub-frame is installed.

What back box depth is required?

A standard UK single-gang back box with 25mm minimum depth is required. The 4.3mm projection of the faceplate adds minimal profile to the wall once fitted.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The brushed chrome cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring or removing the euro module.
