This is a brown cotton rug, 215cm long and 150cm wide, and its pattern is what makes it worth a second look. Rounded arches loop down each long side in lighter lines, framing a centre of fine horizontal bands, so the design has movement without any busy colour. The pile is 96% cotton with 4% other fibre. Cotton is soft and comfortable underfoot, which makes this a rug for bare feet on a winter morning as much as for the look of the room.
