Zareon LED Medium Curved Alabaster Chandelier - Brushed Brass & Soft White

The Zareon is a 1200mm curved alabaster pendant light formed as a continuous S-shaped tube of natural Spanish alabaster, held by two brushed brass collars and suspended from twin brass canopies on slim black cables. An integrated 36W LED runs the length of the tube and casts warm 3000K light through the 100mm-diameter stone, turning the alabaster itself into the diffuser.

Designed as a horizontal feature light for dining tables, kitchen islands and bar counters of 1.4-1.8m in length, the Zareon hangs from two ceiling points spaced along the curve. The 1500mm cable is adjustable on installation, allowing the light to sit 700-800mm above a dining surface or 800-900mm above a kitchen island. The two-point suspension keeps the curved tube level and prevents the form from twisting in use.

Each alabaster section is cut and shaped from solid stone, so the milky veining, grey clouding and translucency vary between individual pieces. The brushed brass collars and canopies pair with solid copper hardware concealed inside the fitting, giving the light a 230V mains-driven build behind the sculptural exterior. The horizontal 1200mm span suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher and works as a single feature without the need for additional pendants alongside.

What size table or island does the Zareon suit?

At 1200mm long the Zareon works best above dining tables and kitchen islands of 1.4-1.8m in length, hung centrally with 200-300mm of clear space at each end. For longer surfaces the larger sizes in the Zareon range will give more balanced proportions.

How is it hung from the ceiling?

The light suspends from two separate brushed brass canopies, one at each end of the curve, with a 1500mm cable from each. Both canopies fix to the ceiling along the line of the fitting, and the cable lengths are trimmed during installation to set the final hanging height.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each tube is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, grey clouding and translucency differ between individual fittings. Variation in the stone is part of the material rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
