Description

The Zareon is a 1500mm curved pendant light cut from natural Spanish alabaster in a flowing S-shape, with two brushed brass strap mounts and matching cylindrical brass canopies. An integrated 42W LED runs the full length of the alabaster section, casting warm 3000K light through the stone so the entire arc glows from within. The 100mm-diameter alabaster tube is suspended on twin black cables, giving the fitting the appearance of a horizontal sculpture floating below the ceiling.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, reception desks and bar counters where a long horizontal light source is needed, the Zareon spans a generous 1.5m without breaking into separate pendants. The 1500mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, and the twin suspension points spread the weight across two ceiling fixings rather than a single canopy. Two brushed brass straps at the suspension points double as cable terminations and structural collars around the alabaster.

Each Zareon is cut from natural alabaster, so the grey veining, cloud-like inclusions and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. Cold the stone reads as soft white with grey marbling; lit, the veining becomes the visual feature, with light pooling around denser sections of stone and passing more freely through the translucent areas. The brushed brass detailing on the straps and canopies gives a warmer counterpoint to the cool tones in the alabaster.
