Description

Our Yule tote is a simple cotton shopping bag dressed for Christmas, and it carries a different design on each side. One side has a wide border of small festive motifs framing the middle of the bag: candy canes, stockings, hearts, birds, drums, mushrooms, baubles, holly sprigs and stars. The other side keeps things quieter, with a single spruce branch and three ornaments hanging from it, a woven heart, a drum and a little pig with a bow. It is made of 100% cotton in beige, measures 38cm long and 40cm tall, and weighs just 0.1KG, so it adds almost nothing to what you carry.

The two handles are long enough to wear over the shoulder, which leaves your hands free on a busy December high street. It suits carrying wrapped presents, a couple of books or a spare scarf, whether you are out doing the Christmas shopping, taking gifts round to friends or heading to a winter market. It also makes a good small present in its own right, or the bag a present goes in, for a teacher, a neighbour or anyone who likes a festive touch. At home it can hang from a hook in the hallway, ready for the next outing, or hold cards, ribbon and wrapping paper through the season.
