Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is laser-printed with 'WASHING MACHINE' text and designed to fit the Curved Edge modular grid switch system. The cover measures 30.6mm high by 15.9mm wide with a 10mm projection from the grid plate, and is moulded from white thermoset resin with anti-microbial properties certified to ISO 22196:2011.

Designed for kitchens, utility rooms and laundries where appliance circuits are switched via grid plates, the rocker cover clips onto any standard Curved Edge grid switch module. The laser-printed text is permanent and does not wear off over time. The cover can be removed and swapped for a different designation if appliance circuits are rewired or repurposed, avoiding the need to replace the entire grid plate.

The thermoset resin construction is harder and more impact-resistant than standard thermoplastic covers, and the anti-microbial treatment inhibits bacterial growth on the surface — particularly useful in kitchens and utility rooms where hands may transfer bacteria from food preparation or laundry handling. The white finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's white Curved Edge grid plates and matches standard white electrical accessories.

Is this compatible with all Knightsbridge grid systems?

No. This rocker cover is designed specifically for the Curved Edge modular grid system. It will not fit the Square Edge or Flat Plate grid ranges due to different rocker dimensions and clip mechanisms.

Can the rocker be removed and reused if I rewire the circuit?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the grid switch module and can be removed by hand without tools. If you later need a different designation (e.g., changing from 'Washing Machine' to 'Tumble Dryer'), you can swap this rocker for another from the Knightsbridge range without replacing the grid plate.
