Description

This is a stoneware plant pot with real character. A reclining tiger is embossed on one side, raised from the surface so you can trace its stripes with a fingertip, and a glossy multicoloured glaze runs down from the rim and gathers around the motif. On each side sit two ring-shaped loops, one above the other, which give the round body a playful outline. It measures 18cm across and 15cm tall and weighs 1.3KG, so it has a reassuring heft on a shelf or windowsill.

At that size it suits a small to medium houseplant, such as a ZZ plant, a peace lily or a trailing pothos. Use it as a cover pot: set the plant inside it, still in its plastic nursery pot, and lift it out when it needs watering.
