Vivielle Striped Throw - Multi

This throw is printed on one face with a multicoloured pattern of flowers, leaves and small birds, and carries a quieter striped design on its reverse. That second side is what we like most about it: turn a corner back and the stripes frame the print, or lay it stripe side up when a room wants something calmer. It measures 160cm long and 130cm wide, a generous size that covers a lap and legs on the sofa. The fabric is a cotton-led blend, 48% cotton with polyester, viscose, acrylic, polyamide and a touch of wool, and at 1.25KG it has a weight you notice on your knees.

Its natural places are the arm of a sofa, the back of a reading chair or folded across the foot of a bed, where it adds a layer for cooler evenings. The print is cheerful, so it works hardest against plain upholstery: a sofa or armchair in a single shade lets the flowers and birds carry the colour for the room.
