This is a set of four stoneware bowls, each one handpainted with a multicoloured floral pattern of tulip-like flowers, small blossoms and long leaves drawn in fine outline. What makes them stand apart is the handle: shaped like a little bird and set against the side of each bowl, it gives your fingers a good hold and the table a touch of humour.
