Description

The Vilastrosi-E is a slim uplighter floor lamp in black, with a bowl-shaped shade on top of a narrow stem and a flat, round base. The body is steel and plastic. It stands 165cm tall, is 22.5cm in diameter at its widest point and rests on a base 20cm in diameter, so it fits neatly into a corner. It takes a single E27 bulb, which is not included, so you choose the brightness and the colour of the light yourself. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Because the shade opens upwards, the light washes across the ceiling and spreads back softly through the room, rather than shining straight into anyone's eyes. That makes it a good choice for a living room corner, beside a sofa or armchair, in a bedroom or at the end of a hallway, wherever you want gentle background light without adding a ceiling fitting. The small base takes up very little floor space, and at 1.57KG the lamp is light enough to move whenever you rearrange the furniture.
