Description

This is a set of three red Christmas decorations made from 100% polyester fabric, each a small festive shape with its own fabric hanging loop: a striped candy cane, a woven heart with a checked pattern and a little drum with a zigzag band. They are padded, so every piece has a plump, three-dimensional body rather than a flat cut-out, and the stitching that joins the strips and panels is part of the look. The three measure 6cm wide and 7cm tall, 9cm wide and 8cm tall, and 5cm wide and 11cm tall, which is small-ornament size: big enough to read clearly on a branch, small enough to sit between baubles without crowding it.

Their natural home is the Christmas tree, where each loop slips straight over the tip of a branch. They work just as well on a bundle of bare twigs in a vase, tied onto a wreath, or hung from a window latch, a cupboard knob or a door handle in the hallway or living room. Fabric does not shatter the way glass does, which makes them easy to live with on a tree that gets brushed past in a busy room.
