The Valmora is a flush LED ceiling light in chrome, with four slim, gently curved bars that cross in pairs over a square chrome base. The body is aluminium and each bar has a white plastic shade, so the integrated LEDs show as soft lines of light rather than bright points. It is 56cm long, 56cm wide and 10.5cm high, so it keeps close to the ceiling while spreading wide. There are four lights of 5.2W each, every one giving 700 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. The IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors and dry, so a living room, bedroom or hallway, never a bathroom or porch.

Because it sits close to the ceiling, we suggest the Valmora for rooms where a pendant would hang too low, such as a bedroom with a modest ceiling height, a landing or a kitchen-diner. The criss-cross bars spread their glow across the ceiling rather than throwing it down from one point, so the whole room feels softly lit. At 56cm across each way it sits well in the middle of a living room or main bedroom, where the chrome catches the light and the white bars keep the glow gentle.
