Description

This is a 400mm round ceiling canopy in white, with three pre-drilled suspension ports for grouping up to three pendant lights from a single mounting point. The plate sits flush to the ceiling at 35mm deep, with the centre port offset towards the rear and two further ports positioned roughly two-thirds out from the centre, allowing pendants to hang as a triangle rather than a straight line.

The canopy is designed for buyers who want to cluster three separate pendants over a dining table, kitchen island or stairwell void without fitting three individual ceiling roses. Each port carries one pendant cable, so installers can mix cable lengths to stagger the drops at different heights for a layered arrangement, or set them all to the same length for a level trio. Wiring is consolidated inside the canopy and run to a single ceiling junction.

The matt white finish is intended to disappear against a standard white ceiling, leaving the pendants themselves as the visible feature. The 400mm diameter gives enough spacing between the three cable exits to keep pendant shades from clashing, while the shallow 35mm height suits rooms with lower ceilings where a deeper canopy would feel intrusive. The metal construction provides a rigid base that supports the combined weight of three pendant fittings.

No. This is the canopy mounting plate only. It is designed to be paired with separate pendant fittings of your choice, with each of the three ports carrying one pendant cable.

Can I mix different pendant styles on one canopy?

Yes. The three ports are independent, so installers can run three matching pendants for a uniform look or combine different shade styles, sizes or finishes for a layered cluster. Cable lengths can also be varied to stagger the drops.

What size space does a 400mm canopy suit?

The 400mm diameter works well over dining tables from around 1.2m long, kitchen islands of 1.4m or more, and stairwell voids where three staggered pendants drop at different heights. For smaller tables a single pendant or a more compact canopy is usually a better proportion.

How is it fitted to the ceiling?
