Description
The Universal 10 Light Round Canopy is an 800mm diameter ceiling plate in white, drilled with ten cable outlets to support a multi-pendant cluster from a single fixing point. The canopy depth is 35mm, giving a low-profile mount that sits close to the ceiling while concealing wiring connections, terminal blocks and the cable feeds for up to ten individual pendants.
Designed for use over dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells and entrance halls, the canopy is the structural base for building a custom pendant arrangement. The ten outlets are positioned across the plate rather than in a single ring, allowing pendants to drop at varied points and at different lengths to form a staggered cluster, a level row over a long table, or a domed arrangement with shorter outer drops and longer central ones.
The plate is metal with a matt white powder-coated finish that blends into white and off-white ceilings without drawing attention away from the pendants themselves. At 800mm across, the canopy comfortably anchors clusters intended to read as a single fitting over tables of 1.8m or longer, or kitchen islands of similar scale. The white finish pairs with any pendant colour and removes the visual weight that a dark or metallic plate would add to the ceiling line.

Frequently Asked
How many pendants can be fitted?
The canopy has ten cable outlets and supports up to ten individual pendants. Fewer pendants can be fitted if a less dense cluster is preferred, with unused outlets blanked off during installation.
Are pendants included?
No. The canopy is supplied as the ceiling plate only. Pendants, cables, lampholders and bulbs are sold separately, allowing the cluster to be built from any compatible Niori or third-party pendants.
What size space does an 800mm canopy suit?
An 800mm round canopy works best as a single anchor point over dining tables of 1.8m or longer, kitchen islands of comparable scale, double-height entrance halls and stairwells. In smaller rooms the plate can dominate the ceiling, so a smaller canopy is usually a better fit for tables under 1.6m.
How is it fixed to the ceiling?
The canopy fixes to the ceiling joists or a suitable mounting structure capable of carrying the combined weight of the plate and the chosen pendants. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, who will also handle the wiring of the multiple pendant feeds within the canopy.
