Description
A counter stool with a back, built on a frame of dark iron tube. The four legs splay out towards the floor and a footrest bar runs between the front pair low down, braced back to the rear legs. The two rear legs carry on upwards to hold a leather faced back panel with rounded corners, fixed to them by two flat iron straps screwed through the leather. The seat is padded and covered in aged tan leather, stitched into three panels.
The seat is 70cm from the floor, which is counter height rather than bar height, so it belongs at a kitchen island, a counter or a breakfast bar and tucks under the worktop when it is not in use. Overall the stool stands 101cm, so the back rises above the counter line. It is 44cm wide and 52cm deep, and because the legs splay it takes up more floor than the seat suggests.
The upholstery is buffalo leather, dyed with vegetable extract and tree bark, which is why the colour deepens with time. The leather is a by product. The frame is solid iron. The Ukari range also runs to dining chairs, in aged tan, aged black, rich green and chocolate brown.

Frequently Asked
How high is the seat?
70cm, which is counter height. The stool stands 101cm tall overall.
Will it fit under my counter?
It is made for a kitchen island, a counter or a breakfast bar, and tucks under the worktop when it is not in use.
Does it have a footrest?
Yes, a bar between the front legs, braced back to the rear ones.
What is it made from?
Buffalo leather on a solid iron frame.
How heavy is it?
8kg.
How do I look after the leather?
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Keep chemicals and household cleaners away from it, as they will damage the finish. To stop the leather drying out and cracking, feed it now and then with a specialist leather product, or with petroleum jelly or flax oil.
