Description

A tealight holder with eight silvered glass panels held in a brass-finished frame, 10cm tall and 9cm across. Each panel is silvered and then broken up, so one face runs from bright to almost black within its own width and no two of the eight carry the same pattern. The frame bars stand at every corner and cap the holder top and bottom, and the top is left open.

This is the larger of the two Tyma sizes and it takes a tealight. Lit, the flame is read through the silvering rather than through plain glass, so what comes out is patchy and the eight corners show as dark vertical lines against it. Lit, the glow sits low in the holder.

The frame is metal, finished in brass, and the glass in it is recycled. The antiquing is applied by hand panel by panel, so the pattern shifts as the light moves round the holder and one piece is never quite another. A tealight is not included.

Yes. Stand the candle securely and keep the flame off the glass. Keep it out of reach of children, let it cool fully before handling it, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
