Description

This is a twin-tube T8 batten fitting that holds two 4ft LED tubes side by side in a single white housing measuring 1235 mm long. It accepts standard G13 bi-pin tubes and is single-end (unilateral) wired, so the live and neutral connection sits at one end of each tube. The fitting is supplied without tubes, so you choose and fit two 4ft T8 LED tubes to match the output and tone you want.

The fitting suits garages, workshops, utility rooms, store cupboards and similar indoor spaces where a clean, even run of overhead light is useful. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor positions only, so keep it clear of damp or exposed locations. It mounts to a ceiling, sitting close to the surface to clear walkways and shelving, and pairs of fittings can be lined up to cover a longer area.

Construction combines a metal body with plastic end caps and tube holders, finished in white to blend with most ceilings. Each tube position is rated for a tube of up to 36W, which is the housing ceiling rather than any output of the fitting itself. Wiring is single-end for straightforward connection, and the unit measures 1235 × 99.5 × 61.5 mm overall.
