Description

The Knightsbridge CS014BC is an isolated TV and SAT outlet combining one coaxial TV socket and one F-Type SAT socket behind a brushed chrome square edge faceplate. The isolated configuration blocks interference between adjacent TV and satellite installations in communal aerial or dish systems, preventing signal degradation when multiple outlets share the same feed.

Designed for apartments, multi-room residential systems, hospitality and commercial buildings where several outlets run from a single distribution amplifier or dish, the isolated design ensures each outlet receives clean signal without crosstalk from neighbouring rooms. The 89mm square faceplate is cut from 430 stainless steel with a brushed chrome finish and a square edge profile that sits flush to the wall surface. A built-in gasket seals the back of the plate to the mounting box.

The coaxial TV outlet uses a female connector compatible with standard UK TV aerial cables, while the F-Type SAT outlet accepts screw-on F-connector plugs used for satellite installations. Both terminals use clamp and screw fixings for secure cable retention. The plate fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and projects 18.2mm from the wall when installed. Certified to BS 5733 for TV and SAT signal distribution, the outlet carries a 25-year manufacturer guarantee.

Frequently Asked

What does 'isolated' mean on a TV outlet?

Isolated outlets include internal circuitry that blocks interference between adjacent sockets on the same aerial or dish system. In communal systems where multiple rooms share one feed, isolated outlets prevent signal degradation caused by one outlet affecting another.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The outlet projects 18.2mm from the wall once fitted, with the faceplate adding 10.5mm of that projection.

What cables connect to this outlet?

The TV socket takes a standard coaxial aerial cable with a female connector. The SAT socket takes an F-Type connector, which is the screw-on plug used for satellite installations. Both are standard UK formats.

Is this suitable for Freeview and Sky Q?

Yes. The coaxial TV outlet handles Freeview aerial signals, while the F-Type SAT outlet is compatible with Sky Q, Freesat and other satellite receiver systems. The isolated design is particularly useful in apartment blocks where several Sky Q installations share a communal dish.
