Description

The Knightsbridge SF0100MW is a non-isolated TV coaxial outlet behind a matt white screwless faceplate. The outlet provides a female coax connection for standard TV aerial and satellite feeds, terminating the cable run at the wall plate without isolating the signal path from adjacent outlets on the same distribution circuit.

Designed for residential aerial and satellite installations where a simple termination point is needed without signal splitting or isolation, the outlet fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, concealing all fixings once installed and giving a clean finish consistent with other Knightsbridge screwless accessories. The built-in gasket between the plate and the wall surface minimises dust ingress and provides a tight seal.

The premium-grade steel construction and matt white powder-coat finish give the outlet an IP20 rating suitable for dry indoor locations such as living rooms, bedrooms and media rooms. What does non-isolated mean?

A non-isolated TV outlet terminates the coaxial cable run without isolating the signal path from other outlets on the same distribution circuit. This makes it suitable for the final outlet on a daisy-chain aerial feed or for single-room installations where no signal splitting is needed. If you need to feed multiple rooms from a single aerial input, an isolated outlet or a distribution amplifier is required instead.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted, giving a total depth of approximately 29mm from the wall surface to the front of the faceplate.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the outlet and re-clipped without re-wiring.
