Description

This Knightsbridge TV outlet provides a single female coaxial connection for standard TV aerial or satellite signals in a non-isolated configuration, behind a matt black screwless faceplate. The non-isolated design means the outlet passes the signal through without diplexing or splitting, making it suitable for single-feed installations where the aerial signal connects directly to one television or set-top box.

Designed for residential living rooms, bedrooms and home cinema installations, the outlet fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. The 87.5mm square faceplate sits flush with the wall, projecting just 4.3mm once fitted, and the built-in gasket around the edge prevents dust ingress between the plate and the wall surface. The clamp and screw terminal at the back accepts standard coaxial cable from the aerial downlead.

The premium-grade steel construction carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and includes an earth terminal for proper signal grounding. A non-isolated TV outlet passes the aerial signal straight through to the connected television without diplexing or splitting. It's designed for single-point installations where one aerial feed connects to one TV. Isolated outlets, by contrast, allow multiple TVs to be fed from the same downlead without signal interference between them.

What back box depth is required?

A 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The matt black cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that's fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the outlet and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring.
