Description

This Knightsbridge rocker cover is laser-printed with 'TUMBLE DRYER' and fits the Curved Edge modular grid switch system. The cover measures 30.6mm high by 15.9mm wide and clips onto a standard grid rocker module, replacing the blank or existing designation on a grid switch assembly.

Designed for domestic and commercial installations where appliance circuits need clear labelling, the rocker cover suits kitchens, utility rooms, laundry facilities and communal areas in residential buildings, care homes and hospitality properties. The white thermoset resin finish coordinates with the Curved Edge grid range and the laser-printed text is permanent and resistant to handling wear.

The rocker is moulded from thermoset resin with anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, making it suitable for environments where hygiene is a priority. The IP20 rating confirms protection against fingers and solid objects above 12.5mm diameter but not against moisture ingress, so the cover is intended for dry indoor locations only. Knightsbridge backs the rocker with a 25-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Can this rocker be used with any Knightsbridge grid switch?

No. This rocker cover is designed exclusively for the Curved Edge modular grid system. It will not fit flat-plate grid switches or standard rocker switches. Ensure your installation uses Knightsbridge Curved Edge grid components before ordering.

Is the text printed or engraved?

The 'TUMBLE DRYER' designation is laser-printed onto the white thermoset resin surface. Laser printing provides permanent marking that resists wear from repeated switching and cleaning.

Can the rocker cover be swapped without re-wiring?

Yes. The rocker clips onto the existing grid module and can be removed and replaced with a different designation rocker without disconnecting the wiring behind the grid assembly.

What anti-microbial protection does the rocker have?

The thermoset resin is treated with an anti-microbial additive tested to ISO 22196:2011, which inhibits bacterial growth on the rocker surface. This makes it suitable for kitchens, care homes and other hygiene-critical environments.
