Designed for hot-desking environments, hotel rooms, coffee shops, office reception areas and home workspaces where multiple users need charging access without carrying adaptors, the plate replaces a standard single-gang aperture and connects directly to 230V mains via a 35mm minimum depth back box. The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings once installed, and includes a built-in gasket to seal against the wall surface.

The dual USB-C configuration supports simultaneous charging of modern devices (laptops, tablets, phones) while the legacy USB-A port retains compatibility with older cables and accessories. When all three ports are in use, the plate distributes power intelligently: USB-C1 and USB-C2 share 45W, while USB-A receives 15W. What back box depth is required?

A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation, depending on wiring conditions. The screwless faceplate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted.

How does power distribution work with multiple devices?

When one port is used, it receives maximum output (63W for USB-C2, 60W for USB-C1). When two or three ports are in use, power is split: USB-C1 + USB-C2 together deliver 45W + 18W, while USB-A adds 15W if a third device is connected. The plate manages this automatically.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
