Description
The Knightsbridge SF63WAT is a dedicated USB charging plate with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port behind an anthracite screwless metal faceplate. The primary USB-C2 port delivers up to 63W via PPS (Programmable Power Supply) and PD3.0 (Power Delivery 3.0) protocols, providing enough output to replace a standard USB-C laptop charger when used with a 100W-rated USB-C cable.
Designed for hot-desking environments, hotel rooms, coffee shops, office reception areas and home workspaces where multiple users need charging access without carrying adaptors, the plate replaces a standard single-gang aperture and connects directly to 230V mains via a 35mm minimum depth back box. The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings once installed, and includes a built-in gasket to seal against the wall surface.
The dual USB-C configuration supports simultaneous charging of modern devices (laptops, tablets, phones) while the legacy USB-A port retains compatibility with older cables and accessories. When all three ports are in use, the plate distributes power intelligently: USB-C1 and USB-C2 share 45W, while USB-A receives 15W. The anthracite finish is a dark grey powder-coated steel that pairs well with industrial, contemporary and dark-toned interiors.
Charging output varies by port configuration. Single-port use: USB-C1 delivers max 60W (PD3.0), USB-C2 delivers max 63W (PPS and PD3.0), USB-A provides legacy charging. Dual-port use: USB-C1 + USB-C2 split to 45W + 18W, USB-C1 + USB-A split to 45W + 18W, USB-C2 + USB-A share 15W total. Triple-port use: USB-C1 and USB-C2 share 45W combined, USB-A receives 15W separately. Always use certified USB cables rated for the power draw required — a cable rated only for 30W will limit output even if the port can deliver more.

Frequently Asked
Can this replace a laptop charger?
Yes, if your laptop charger is rated 65W or below. The USB-C2 port delivers up to 63W via PPS and PD3.0 protocols. You will need a USB-C cable rated for 100W to handle the full output — standard 30W cables will limit charging speed.
What back box depth is required?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation, depending on wiring conditions. The screwless faceplate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted.
How does power distribution work with multiple devices?
When one port is used, it receives maximum output (63W for USB-C2, 60W for USB-C1). When two or three ports are in use, power is split: USB-C1 + USB-C2 together deliver 45W + 18W, while USB-A adds 15W if a third device is connected. The plate manages this automatically.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The anthracite cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the charger plate and re-clipped without re-wiring.
