Description

This brown stoneware bowl is 21cm long, 19.5cm wide and 12cm tall, with a pouring spout at the rim. It holds 1800ml, which makes it a proper mixing bowl rather than a cereal or soup bowl: room for pancake batter, a cake mix or a green salad for the whole table. The outside is worked in close, wavy ridges that run up from the foot to the rim, so the surface catches the light, while the inside is left smooth for stirring and scraping. At 1.3KG it is a substantial piece rather than a delicate one.
