Description

The Tiffany is a 550mm diameter crystal chandelier with four arms extending from an antique brass centre column, each arm terminating in an E14 bulb fitting beneath a cream fabric shade. Crystal droplets hang in short cascades beneath each shade, catching and refracting light from the bulbs above. The fluted canopy and central column share the same antique brass finish as the arms, giving the fitting a cohesive warm metallic tone.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Tiffany provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The adjustable drop between 600mm and 1600mm allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or raised higher for hallway installations. Each cream shade diffuses the direct light from the E14 bulb (sold separately), while the crystal drops below add movement and sparkle when the fitting is switched on.

The antique brass finish shows deliberate darkening in the recesses of the metalwork, contrasting with brighter highlights on the raised surfaces. This aged patina pairs well with traditional and transitional interiors, particularly where warm wood tones and cream, beige or taupe wall colours are present. The cream fabric shades are semi-opaque, allowing a soft wash of light to pass through while concealing the bulb shape. The 4.2kg weight requires secure ceiling mounting to a joist or suitable fixings rated for the chandelier's mass.

The 2700K to 3000K range of warm-white E14 bulbs matches the cream shades and antique brass frame, keeping the output soft rather than clinical. The fitting carries a 1 year warranty.

The chandelier takes four E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with 4-6W warm white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K for a soft ambient effect. Maximum wattage per bulb depends on the bulb type chosen.

Is the Tiffany dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no electronic components that would prevent dimming, but standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim correctly.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 600mm to 1600mm. For a dining table installation, a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m is recommended to allow the chandelier to hang 700-800mm above the table surface without obstructing sightlines. Higher ceilings can use the full 1600mm drop for hallway or stairwell installations.

How is the antique brass finish maintained?

The antique brass patina is part of the design and does not require polishing. Dust the metalwork and crystal drops with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks on the brass, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid metal polishes or chemical cleaners which may strip the aged finish.
