Description

The Tiffany is a 550mm diameter crystal chandelier with four curved antique brass arms extending from a central column, each carrying an E14 bulb fitting inside a soft bronze pleated fabric shade. Beneath each arm, a strand of facet-cut crystal pendants hangs suspended, catching light from the bulbs above and refracting it across the room.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and sitting rooms with ceiling heights above 2.6m, the Tiffany provides ambient light filtered through the bronze fabric and decorative sparkle from the crystal. The drop is adjustable between 600mm minimum and 1600mm maximum, allowing it to be set 700-900mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The antique brass finish has a warmer, slightly aged tone compared to polished brass, pairing with traditional, classical and transitional interiors.

Each bronze shade diffuses the light from its E14 bulb (sold separately, max 40W each recommended) into a soft amber glow, while the crystal pendants add visual weight and decorative detail beneath the horizontal plane of the arms. The chandelier weighs 4kg when assembled, requiring a ceiling fixing rated for at least 6kg to allow safety margin. The brass frame and fabric shades give the fitting a balanced presence without the visual mass of an all-crystal or all-metal chandelier.

Dimmability depends on the bulbs chosen — pair with dimmable E14 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch to control light levels. The chandelier has four E14 small Edison screw fittings, one per arm. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K for ambient lighting, or dimmable halogen bulbs up to 40W each if dimming control is needed.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the chandelier with a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself has no electronic components that prevent dimming — dimmability depends entirely on the bulbs chosen.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 600mm to 1600mm. For a dining table the chandelier typically sits 700-850mm above the table surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. The pleated fabric shades attract dust over time. Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner set to low power, or wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid liquid cleaners or water, which can stain or damage the fabric finish.
