The Tierra cushion is a 50cm square in cut velvet, and the cut pile is what gives the pattern its life. The abstract, marbled design is worked so that the raised velvet catches the light while the flatter woven ground reads paler and quieter, so the whole face shifts as you move past it or as the light changes through the day. Here it comes in bronze, a warm russet brown broken by lighter caramel and cream veining that runs across the cloth in soft, restless waves.
