Description

The Tiara is a 159cm floor lamp built around a two-tier shade of faceted glass prisms, combining a gold-plated upper ring with a clear crystal lower cascade on a polished chrome stem and base. The lamp takes three G9 bulbs (sold separately) housed within the crystal tiers, and the faceted glass cuts light into refractions that scatter across walls and ceilings when lit.

Designed as decorative ambient lighting rather than task lighting, the Tiara suits formal living rooms, dressing areas and bedroom corners where a decorative accent is needed alongside overhead or wall-mounted primary lighting. The 35cm shade diameter and 159cm overall height give the lamp a noticeable presence without dominating floor space, and the polished chrome base reflects surrounding light even when the lamp is switched off. The IP20 rating limits the lamp to indoor dry locations.

The upper tier uses gold-plated ABS to frame the faceted glass prisms, creating a warm metallic contrast against the cooler chrome stem. The lower tier cascades clear glass prisms in a tapered arrangement, each prism catching and refracting light from the G9 bulbs inside. What bulbs does the Tiara take?

The lamp takes three G9 bulbs up to 10W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K to complement the gold accents and enhance the warm refractions from the crystal prisms.

Is the lamp stable on carpets?

Yes. The 11.38kg weight and circular chrome base provide stability on both hard floors and medium-pile carpets. On deep-pile or shag rugs, placing the base on a firmer section of floor is recommended.

Can the Tiara be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the lamp to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near wet areas, or any location where moisture or splashing may occur.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Wipe each glass prism gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the lamp, as liquid can enter the electrical fittings and damage the internal wiring.
