The Monkey is a sculptural ceiling pendant cast in white resin, modelled as a life-sized primate hanging from a rope and gripping a single E27 bulb holder in its outstretched hand. The figure measures 77cm tall, 37cm wide and 20cm deep, with the rope acting as both the suspension element and a continuation of the sculpture. The bulb sits exposed at the end of a short silver-grey lampholder, which is held in the monkey's right paw.

The pendant is intended for rooms where the fitting itself is part of the decor rather than a discreet light source. It works well over reading nooks, hallway corners, children's rooms, conservatories, hospitality spaces and creative studios, where the figural form draws the eye and the single E27 bulb provides accent rather than primary task light. The 150cm cable allows the monkey to hang well clear of standard ceilings, with the rope extending the visual drop further still.

Dust the figure with a soft, dry brush or microfibre cloth. For marks on the white finish, use a barely-damp cloth with plain water. Avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners and polishes, which can dull the matt surface.
