This is a rounded metal vase finished in a warm brown, standing 23cm tall with a width and depth of 24cm. The bellied body tapers to a narrow neck and open mouth, flanked by two looped handles that give it an urn-like shape. The upper half carries a smooth matt surface, while the lower section is hand finished with a rough, burnished texture for contrast. Made from sturdy iron, it weighs 1.15kg and feels substantial in the hand. Because the base texture is applied by hand, each vase varies slightly, so no two are exactly alike.
