Description

The Tessaro Small is a 52cm empire-form chandelier built around a chrome ring set with cushion-cut K9 crystals, with white leather trusses cascading from a chrome top collar down to the base ring. An integrated 3000K LED runs through the crystal halo, lighting the cut glass from within and casting warm white light through the leather basket. A single faceted crystal drop hangs at the centre.

Sized for smaller rooms where a full-scale empire chandelier would dominate, the Tessaro suits entrance halls, dining areas in flats and townhouses, and lounges with ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards. The 150cm cable allows the fitting to hang at a comfortable height above a 4-6 seat dining table or as a centrepiece in a hallway. The 52cm width keeps the silhouette substantial without overcrowding tighter floor plans.

The white leather strapping is the defining feature: each truss is cut and tensioned between the top collar and the crystal base ring, replacing the traditional metal cage of a classical empire chandelier with a softer, modern material. The chrome hardware and K9 crystal hold the formal references to the original empire silhouette, while the leather and integrated LED bring it firmly into contemporary territory. Total weight is 17kg, requiring a ceiling fixing rated accordingly.

Does the Tessaro come with a bulb?

Yes. The light source is an integrated LED rated at 3000K (warm white), built into the crystal halo ring. There are no replaceable bulbs to fit, and no additional bulb purchase is required.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting is 68.6cm tall with a 150cm cable, giving a maximum drop of approximately 2.2m from ceiling to the base of the chandelier. For dining tables the chandelier typically hangs 700-800mm above the surface, which suits ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. The cable can be shortened on installation for lower ceilings.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on a 120V-220V driver. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and driver behaviour — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

How is the leather cleaned?

Wipe the leather trusses gently with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the leather and do not use household sprays, polishes or solvent cleaners. The K9 crystals can be cleaned with a soft, dry microfibre cloth.
