Description

The Tessaro is a 52.1cm empire-form chandelier that pairs grey leather trusses with a cushion-cut K9 crystal ring and an integrated 3000K LED. Curved leather straps run from a chrome top collar down to a chrome base ring, forming the classic empire silhouette in a soft, matte material. A double band of clear K9 crystals sits at the widest point of the body, with a single crystal drop suspended at the centre.

Suited to dining rooms, entrance halls, stairwells and dressing rooms with a ceiling height of 2.6m or higher, the Tessaro hangs from a 150cm cable that can be shortened on installation. The 68.6cm body height makes it best positioned with around 700-800mm clearance above a dining table or 2.1m clearance above a circulation route. At 17kg, the fitting requires a ceiling fixing rated for the load and is best installed by a qualified electrician.

The leather strap construction is what sets the Tessaro apart from a standard crystal empire chandelier. Where a traditional fitting uses chrome or brass arms, here the structure is softened by matte grey hide that absorbs reflected light rather than bouncing it back. The cushion-cut K9 crystals are precision-set into the central ring to maximise refraction when the LED is lit, and the chrome top and base collars provide a clean structural contrast against the leather.

The integrated LED runs at 3000K warm white, casting light outward through the crystal ring and downward through the open base. Because the light source is built in, there's no bulb to source or replace within the lifetime of the LED, and the colour temperature stays consistent across the fitting.

The light source is an integrated LED rated at 3000K warm white. There is no replaceable bulb — the LED is built into the fitting and is included as standard.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the driver supplied with the integrated LED and the specific dimmer model. Please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility for your installation.

What ceiling height is required?

The body of the chandelier is 68.6cm tall and the cable provides up to 150cm of drop. A ceiling height of 2.6m or higher is recommended to give around 700-800mm clearance above a dining table, or 2.1m clearance above a walkway. The cable can be shortened on installation to suit lower ceilings.

How is it installed?

The Tessaro weighs 17kg, so the ceiling fixing point must be rated to support the load with a safety margin. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, who will trim the 150cm cable to the required drop and connect the integrated LED driver to the mains.
