Description

The Tessaro Small is a 52.1cm empire-form chandelier built around a ring of cushion-cut K9 crystal glass, suspended from twelve black leather straps that taper from a polished metal crown at the top to a matching collar at the base. An integrated 3000K LED sits at the centre of the crystal ring, casting warm light outward through the faceted glass.

The compact 52.1cm width and 68.6cm height suit smaller dining rooms, entrance halls, stairwells and boutique hospitality spaces where a full-size empire chandelier would dominate. Hung above a 4-6 seat dining table, the base of the fitting typically sits 750-850mm above the table surface. The 150cm suspension cable allows the drop to be shortened on installation to suit ceiling heights from around 2.4m upwards.

The leather straps are stitched along their edges and curve under their own tension between the crown and base ring, giving the silhouette its empire shape without internal framing. The K9 crystal ring uses cushion-cut stones set in a continuous chrome channel, so the LED at the centre refracts through the crystal at every angle. Total weight is 17kg, which requires a ceiling fixing rated to support the load.

What is K9 crystal?

K9 is a high-quality optical crystal glass with a high lead-equivalent refractive index, used widely in chandeliers as a clearer alternative to standard pressed glass. Cushion-cut K9 stones produce sharp, defined refractions when lit from within.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the crystal ring rather than supplied as a removable bulb. The fitting is rated for a 2-year warranty (see the Specification tab); for service beyond the warranty period, please contact us.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The fitting is 68.6cm tall with a 150cm suspension cable that can be shortened on installation. It works comfortably in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, and over a dining table the base typically sits 750-850mm above the surface.

How is the leather cleaned?

Wipe the leather straps with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes or solvent-based cleaners. The K9 crystal ring can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth; isolate the fitting at the consumer unit before cleaning.
