Description

This pink glass vase has a figure all its own: a softly flared rim, a narrow waist and a full, rounded body that swells out before tucking in again at a small foot. Vertical ribs run from rim to base and divide the body into gentle lobes, and the glass has a faint ripple, so light catches differently across each panel. It stands 18cm across and 20cm tall, a compact table vase rather than a floor piece, and at 1KG it feels reassuringly solid in the hand. The pink is light and see-through, so the stems and the water stay on view.

At 20cm tall it suits a short, generous bunch rather than long-stemmed lilies: garden roses, a few protea heads, sweet peas or fern fronds left to trail over the rim.
