Taccia 4 Light LED Glass Bar Pendant 20W 3000K - Transparent

The Taccia is a 72cm chrome bar pendant suspending four transparent teardrop-shaped glass shades, each containing an integrated 5W LED module for a combined 20W output at 3000K. Inside each shade sits a textured inner element filled with decorative air bubbles, creating a layered glass effect that diffuses and refracts the LED light through multiple surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the four-point distribution provides even illumination across surfaces up to 2m long. The pendant drop adjusts from 35cm minimum to 120cm maximum on installation, allowing it to be set 65-80cm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The chrome bar measures 72cm x 12cm and fits standard UK ceiling roses, with gravity toggles included for secure mounting to plasterboard or masonry ceilings.

Each teardrop shade measures approximately 20cm high and houses a sealed LED module rated at 450 lumens per shade, totalling 1,800 lumens across all four lights. The transparent glass and chrome finish pair with contemporary, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors where clean lines and understated metal accents are preferred. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas — dining rooms, kitchens and living spaces away from steam or moisture.

The Taccia is supplied by Schuller, a Spanish lighting manufacturer. The fitting weighs 3.3kg when assembled and requires a ceiling mounting point capable of supporting that load plus a margin. The integrated LEDs are non-replaceable but rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, equivalent to roughly 10 years at typical residential usage levels.

Is the Taccia dimmable?

The integrated LEDs operate on mains voltage without a driver, so dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with this fitting.

What length island or table does it suit?

The 72cm bar with four evenly-spaced shades works best over islands or dining tables between 1.6m and 2.2m long. For shorter surfaces the light distribution may feel too spread; for longer surfaces consider two Taccia pendants or a five- or six-light alternative.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The LEDs are integrated and sealed within each shade. They are rated for approximately 25,000 hours, equivalent to roughly 10 years of typical use. When the LEDs reach end-of-life the entire fitting would need replacement.

How is the glass cleaned?

Switch off and allow the glass to cool completely. Wipe the outer and inner glass surfaces with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water or glass cleaner, then dry immediately to avoid streaking.
